GIFs play automatically everywhere – chats, forums, docs and emails – without a play button. Keep clips short (2–5 seconds) and small (320–480 px) for files that load quickly.
Questions
Why is my GIF large?
GIF is an old, inefficient format. Shorter clips, lower frame rates and smaller widths keep the size down.
Is there sound?
No – GIFs can’t contain audio.
