Many forms – job applications, exam registrations, visas and ID uploads – only accept images under 50KB. Choose your photo and it’s compressed to the highest quality that still fits under 50KB, shrinking the dimensions only if quality alone isn’t enough.
Questions
Will my photo still look OK at 50KB?
For a passport-style photo or signature, yes. A full-resolution landscape will be scaled down to fit.
Is my photo uploaded?
No, compression happens in your browser.
